Apple drops secrecy, confirms iOS 5, iCloud on tap at WWDC 2011

Apple has announced plans to introduce the next generation mobile platform, IOS 5 and a cloud service called icloud in next week’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on Monday, June 6. This is an unusual step for Apple, which usually tries to keep his center-ring ads secret until the scheduled event.

In a press conference, Apple said that the IOS 5 will be released along with OS X 10.7 icloud and León. However, no tracking of details in any of the software, the only official icloud gossip is that it is a “cloud services next offering.”

Media and analysts had expected the introduction of icloud for years, giving consumers the flexibility to store their digital media collections on Apple’s servers for streaming access through connected devices. CNet reports that Apple has completed tag music licensing agreements with three of the four major labels: EMI Music, Warner Music and Sony Music.
